DENR Air Quality Index Categories
Official AQI value ranges used to interpret the current AeroCloud reading.
AeroCloud calculates separate PM2.5, CO, and NO₂ sub-indices using the DENR interpolation formula and reports the highest sub-index as the overall AQI. The prescribed averaging periods are 24 hours for PM2.5, 8 hours for CO, and 1 hour for NO₂. Real-time mock readings are preliminary estimates until a complete averaging window is available.
